Helvetica, the publication, celebrates 100 ideas rooted in the principles and legacy of Swiss design. The project (2019–2021) sought to expand the dialogue around the distinctive precision, functionality, and visual clarity that define Swiss design.
This project focuses on the core tenets of minimalism, dissecting the principles that make minimalist design both timeless and functional. It provides a detailed exploration of reducing complexity while maximizing usability.
Fenial is inspired by the look of many gothic blackletter scripts that utilise pointed terminals and sharp serifs, combined with the characteristics of some realist typefaces. Fenial’s name is derived from the word Finial meaning “an ornament at the top, end, or corner of an object, often formed to be a decorative feature”.
Curated and designed an exhibition highlighting the evolution of Swiss modernism in graphic design, showcasing iconic works and their influence on contemporary design.
